The postcard exaggerates the surf a bit, don't you think? It looks more like an Ocean City card with the name changed. Circa 30's or early 40's I would guess.
The second photo is of Betterton. We often pulled into the beach between the piers, anchoring bow and stern, and walked around town.
Remember the Wilson Line? It still operated in the sixties - binging boat loads of folks from Baltimore for a day at the beach. - Jim Fox
